We want to share our environment protection goal explaining our business choices. Choices that follow a specific sustainability model, which is applied to every Tecnofer project from the beginning to end.

Filtration Systems

Environment Commitment

Tecnofer attention towards the environmental protection topic is visible also in its external structure. Our company actually occupies an industrial area of 40,000 square meters of which 30% is a green area with 765 planted plants within the property. We are proud to be a company that invests in the creation of green spaces that can bring environmental and personal health benefits.

Trees are like a symbol for Tecnofer. In fact, we think of trees as real representatives of our brand and our environmental commitment. We identify with them here in Tecnofer, because like trees we change the leaves, but we keep our roots.

Environmental Protection

The environment protection, today crucial and central topic in economic and social politics, as well as industrial activities, is a moral goal for Tecnofer. In front of environmental challenges (co2 emissions and climate change, drought and scarcity of renewable resources) Tecnofer turned sustainable development into a strategic direction on which focusing its competitive advantage. Each Tecnofer system or solution is designed to maximize energy savings and minimize water consumption, and to transform waste into a resource.

The "Green Smile" Project

Around 2020, in Tecnofer was born the idea of creating a project that incorporates both sustainability and love for nature and territory. A project that grows and evolves over time, and in doing so brings benefits to people and territory. And also helps compensate the CO2 emissions normally produced during the production processes. In short, a green and powerful project like a smile: a forest!

The “Green Smile” forest entirely made up of trees of Paulownia, a species also called “anti-smog” for its great ability to absorb carbon dioxide: ten times more than any other plant or tree in the world. With this project we plan to absorb about 10 tons of CO2 per year, contributing not only to the improvement of our impact on the environment, but also to the improvement of the air quality in our territory.

Health and Security

Tecnofer provides safe working areas for staff and visitors, allowing everyone to carry out their duties with serenity.

In 2018, to strengthen the path linked to safety and health, we equipped ourselves with a defibrillator. The staff assigned to its use, thanks to a specific training, can operate in emergency situations, providing an invaluable service to the company. The defibrillator has been registered on the Region website: this way health care professionals around our factory could also use it, in case they need it.

During COVID-19 emergency, we promptly satisfied the need of working in a safe space. The safety measures implemented were far superior to those made mandatory by law and, at the same time, an insurance policy was activated to protect all personnel.

We firmly believe that taking care of the well-being of our employees is a determining factor for a healthy and growing business. This is why one of Tecnofer’s goals is to create a better working environment that favors the reconciliation between work and private life. A goal that also means promoting the development of human capital and the growth of the sense of belonging. In 2019, to contribute to the achievement of this fundamental goal, Tecnofer activated a Welfare plan aimed at increasing the individual and family well-being of collaborators, from an economic and social point of view.

Sustainability Culture

We bring the culture of sustainability in the schools because we believe that only with the awareness and recycling education of new generations will be possible to live in a sustainable way protecting the environment.

We have created within the company a dedicated space of 413 square meters for the sustainable culture diffusion: visit our t lab “tecnofer laboratory of ideas and always-new technologies”
Our welfare plan can be spent by all tecnofer personnel also in study and training courses of all levels both in italy and abroad for themselves and their families.
