Friction washer for pulper rejects

The friction washer for pulper rejects principle is to separate the fibers and recycled fiber from the plastic fraction with a centrifugal action combined with water.

The cleaned accepted fibers from washing machine can be reused on the process as dilution into the pulper or forwarded into pulper’s dump chest or whatsoever utilize; rejects from the washing machine that are plastics, fiber’s free, are processed into a dewatering screw press for the drying phase.

The separation of the highly hygroscopic fibers allows to obtain a plastic material with a low moisture content. The system is self balanced in terms of water consumption.
