Goals and results

With a view to continuous improvement, Orkos has opted for a mechanical drying system capable of reducing the moisture content in LDPE flakes at the final stage of the recycling process. The system, with its high efficiency, performs a moisture reduction of over 90%, allowing Orkos to achieve a smoother process and maximize the performance of its extruder.

One of the key points we want to emphasize is the energy optimization inherent in the system. It has been possible to achieve excellent drying results while keeping energy consumption levels low, thanks to integrated management and automation systems.
