Tecnofer has been collaborating with the company for some time and has developed various projects over the years. In this brief Case History we talk about the latest project: a hot-wash PET system integrated into their existing washing line.

The Project

The client's need was both to enhance the current PET recycling system to further improve washing efficiency in terms of quality and production capacity and to treat a new type of waste, thermoformed trays.

From here, the tailor-made hot-wash PET project was born for the customer. The system was seamlessly integrated into the pre-existing line, thanks to Tecnofer’s engineering study conducted in collaboration with the client, allowing the customer to avoid long production stops due to machinery modifications or relocations.

In fact, the system was designed with the goal of delivering even cleaner and more efficient output material. Process optimization is handled by Tecnofer’s automation, specially designed to make the operators' activities simpler and faster, thanks also to the interconnection and data exchange that this system enables between the plant and the factory management system.
